Did You Know? 你知道嗎？

The Day of Pentecost was also known 
as the “Feast of Weeks,” 
“First Fruits of the Wheat Harvest,” 
(Ex 23:16, 34:22), 
and the “Day of the First Fruits” 
(Num 28:26). 
It takes place fifty days after the Passover. 
It is a celebration in which 
the Israelites offer the first fruits of their harvest 
to God as a thanksgiving 
and expect Him to bless the rest of the harvest period 
(Lev 23:15-19; Num 28:26-29). 
The Holy Spirit was poured out upon the believers 
for the first time on the Day of Pentecost, 
as recorded in Acts chapter 2.

五旬節也被稱為，

which is “Messiah” in Hebrew, means the “Anointed One.” 
Jesus, the long-expected “King of the Jews,” 
was sometimes called “Christ” or “the Christ,” 
which was a title, a recognition that He was the Savior.
