Dear Reader, 親愛的讀者，

With the recent economic downturn 
we all face many difficulties. 
Many people are getting laid off, losing their income, 
and using up their savings. 
Those who still have jobs 
are seeing reduced paychecks and shrinking benefits.

隨著近期的經濟低迷，
我們都面臨諸多困難。
許多人失業，收入減少，
耗盡了自已的積蓄。
即便仍有工作，
也面臨薪資減少和福利縮水。

A natural response to these problems is to turn to God, 
because we know that 
He is the greatest source of comfort during times of distress. 
He does not give us more than we can bear, 
but refines us through trials.

要面對這些問題的一個自然反應就是轉向神，
因為我們知道，
祂是我們患難中最大安慰的泉源。
祂不會給我們超過自已所能承受的，
而是透過試煉來精煉我們。

While knowing this 
can be a large step away from understanding and submitting, 
we can always take heart from the experiences of other members. 
From God’s guidance through a period of doubt, 
to overcoming illness, to making a difficult career choice, 
the articles in this issue show the great love of God.

雖然明白這一點，
就可能是遠離只是理解，轉而順服的一大步，
我們可以一直留意其他信徒的經驗。
經由神的帶領來度過一段疑惑的時期，
來戰勝疾病，並再到做出艱難的職業選擇，
本期的文章展現了神偉大的慈愛。

When we trust in Him with all our heart and rely on Him, 
we will see our relationship with Him grow and our faith strengthen.

當我們盡心信靠祂，依靠祂時，
我們會看到已與祂的關係增長，我們的信心也會增強。
