The word “Bible” comes from the Greek words ta biblia,
which mean “the books.” 
However, reading the Bible is not like reading any other collection of 66 books. 
The name “Bible” is used to imply 
that it is the collection of books, the books we really should read, 
because they are the right books.

“聖經”一詞源自希臘文“ta biblia”，
意為“幾卷經書”。
然而，讀聖經並不同於閱讀任何其他 66 經卷組成的集合。
“聖經”這個名詞是以暗示，
那是一本合集書，是我們真正應該閱讀的經卷，
因為它們才是好書。

Did You Know? 你知道嗎？

There are five chapters in the Book of Lamentations, 
and the first four chapters are acrostic. 
This means each verse or set of verses 
begins with subsequent letters of the Hebrew alphabet. 
The Hebrew alphabet has twenty-two letters 
so the chapters begin with the first letter, Aleph ( ), 
and ends in the last letter, Tav ( ).

耶利米哀歌共有五章，
前面四章採首字母靈意詩的形式。(藏頭詩)
這代表每一節或每一組經節，
開頭都會按希伯來字母依序安排。
希伯來字母有 22 個字母，
因此，全部章節都以第一個字母 Aleph 開頭，
並以最後一個字母 Tav 結尾。
